Ma'an Nasel

Ma'an Nasel, the network of public transportation advocates, has a video that highlights many of the developments we need here in Amman. Check it out (in Arabic):

In identifying the steps that need to be taken to improve the quality of public transportation in Jordan, they hit on a number of important points including...

• Buses arriving on a fixed schedule
• Designating priority lanes for buses
• Having clean and safe stations for passengers
• Trains between cities

And best of all: "خرائط واضحة و انظمة الارشاد" - "Clear maps and systems for directions". 

I'm hoping in the coming weeks to work more with Ma'an Nasel. Through them, organizing a larger "flock" (as the folks over at Urban Launchpad call it) of data collectors would be very doable.
